Student organizations may request funding for Winter Term programming.
Programming during Winter Term
1. Project Funding The SFC will only consider requests for Winter Term projects under exceptional circumstances. This review may only take place by a supermajority vote of the SFC, and no allocation will be made without a unanimous vote of all SFC members.
2. Programming During Winter Term Chartered student organizations may request funds for programming that will take place during WinterTerm.
SFC is a 7 member student board working to equitably allocate the Student Activity Fund to all Oberlin student organizations and individual student projects. OST is the sister organization handling form processing, confirming allocations, and requests for payment/purchasing cards. SFC and OST members meet multiple times a week to review budgets, vote on allocations, and vote and discuss policy, lead working groups with student organizations, and hold office hours to serve as a counselor for students seeking guidance about funding and student government.
